Today (13th Jan) the Mayor of London announced the launch of London Power – a new energy company for Londoners. Partnered with Octopus Energy and offering competitive tariffs (in the top 10% of comparable tariffs) from renewable energy sources, London Power will re-invest any profits into London’s least energy efficient properties and work to lift people out of fuel poverty. Their PPM tariff (at launch) was the 2nd cheapest in London and saving over £150 against the Big 6/PPM price cap.
One of our directors (Rob) was instrumental in the set up of London Power. Brought in at the start of the project, he helped create the specification that underpinned the procurement. Then helping with assessment of bids, through mobilisation and beyond launch, this has strengthened his already strong White Label experience (after supporting Ebico on their move from SSE to Robin Hood). It has also provided an introduction to the public sector and to public procurement processes.
NEC offers White Label services for public and private bodies. Please see this link for more information on our services.
